Ben Curtis duff’d it on No. 11 at Augusta National

A poor attempt to hit driver off the pine straw.

It didn’t take long for the Amen Corner livestream to provide an early highlight to the day once Ben Curtis went wandering into the woods on No. 11. Curtis needed a low punch shot and opted to go with a driver off the pine straw. The results were not favorable:

Look down at the lie. Look around the woods to see if anyone noticed that. Stare at the ground again.

It’s comparable to non-professional golfer Caroline Wozniacki’s duff on Wednesday, but at least they both moved the ball forward. Ian Woosnam can’t say the same thing.
