The Masters 2013: Tiger Woods will not withdraw, according to report

Will Tiger Woods withdraw from The Masters despite escaping disqualification? Don’t bet on it.

As the “Tiger Drop” controversy remains a hotly debated topic on television and social media, one question looms over the 2013 Masters: will Tiger Woods decide to withdraw from the tournament?

According to the Washington Post’s Barry Svrluga’s recent tweet, the answer is a resounding “no”:

It appears an overwhelming majority of golf fans -- if Twitter is any gauge of public opinion -- believe Tiger should withdraw to save some face in the wake of what might be an incredibly large blemish on his career. Others believe that if Tiger chooses to play, winning the tournament at this point might cause more harm than good. Then again, we are talking about a man who has overcome substantial adversity over the span of his fantastic career.

Regardless of your opinion on this situation, the ultimate decision remains in Tiger’s court.
