The Sunday tee times are set for the 2013 Masters, and it will be Angel Cabrera and Brandt Snedeker anchoring the final round at Augusta National, going off at 2:40 p.m. ET. As is always the case on moving day, the top of the leaderboard was in constant motion as the afternoon groups made their way through the second nine on Saturday. In the end, it was the Argentinian and 2009 Masters champ along with Snedeker, who had that emotional and memorable post-round press conference in 2008 when he couldn’t close it out on Sunday afternoon.
Masters 2013 tee times and pairings: Tiger Woods will play 3 groups ahead of leaders
After some shifting on moving day, Brandt Snedeker and Angel Cabrera will play in the final pairing on Sunday, while three groups ahead will be Tiger Woods attempting to make a charge.
Snedeker’s career has come a long way since the 2008 disappointment, hitting a high mark last year across the state in Atlanta with a $10 million FedExCup title. He started this season playing the best golf in the world, turning up on the first page of the leaderboard at every event he entered. But tomorrow will be the biggest round of his life, playing in the final group of a tournament that he reveres. He’s perhaps the best putter in the world, and he’ll need to be steady with that club on Sunday with the roars he’ll hear ahead of him all day.
Tiger Woods might be one of those players generating that noise, and he’ll go off with Tim Clark at 2:10 p.m. ET. It was a long day for Woods, who spent all morning sweating out a potential disqualification ruling. He was dinged two shots by the Augusta National rules committee, and then sputtered through his first nine in 36. But the No. 1 player in the world did get some momentum coming into the clubhouse, finishing with three birdies on the back side to get to 2-under for the day. At 3-under for the week, he’s still inside the top 10 and certainly capable of putting heat on the leaders early on Sunday.
Instead of Bubba Watson, on Sunday it will be Keegan Bradley who has the ignominy, or honor, of playing by himself and zipping through the course. Bradley will most likely use spotter Jim Knox like Bubba did on Saturday. Here’s the full tee sheet for the other 30 groups playing after Bradley in Sunday’s final round:
