Lindsey Vonn’s former husband, Thomas Vonn, took to Twitter the day after Woods’ controversial ball drop on Friday during the second round of the Masters to take credit for tattling on Tiger.

Lindsay Vonn may be schlepping around Augusta National after her boyfriend, Tiger Woods, but her ex-husband seems to be keeping a close eye on the world No. 1 as well.

The four-time Masters winner ran afoul of the rules after his third shot to the 15th green clanked off the flag stick and into the water fronting the green and he dropped another ball in a sketchy location. TV viewers then alerted tourney officials after Woods admitted in a televised interview that he had taken what turned out to be an illegal drop.
Vonn, who was divorced from Tiger’s new girlfriend earlier this year and apparently holds a grudge, owned up to being one of those snitches, though we’re pretty sure he was just getting one over on his ex and her new beau.

The other narc, according to multiple reports, was none other than Bob Costas’ good friend, CBS’ Masters anchor Jim Nantz. Fred Ridley, chair of the Masters competition committee, told reporters on Saturday that he “received a message from CBS” at about 10 p.m. Friday after Woods made his remarks.
Woods statement, Ridley said, “created some further doubt, at least in some people’s minds, as to whether or not Tiger had, in fact, violated a rule.
