Tiger Woods is the favorite to win the Masters despite having not won a major since 2008. The odds on the world’s No. 1 ranked player winning the tournament are 5/2, well ahead of Rory McIlroy, who is 8/1.
2013 Masters odds: Tiger Woods heavy favorite at Augusta
The top two players in the world, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, are the favorites heading into the Masters.

Woods will look to break his major-less streak at the Masters, which he won in 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2005. The Masters didn’t go as planned for Woods last year, as he failed to break par in any round and slumped to a five-over tie for 40th.
Rory McIlroy is the world’s No. 2 player and is coming off of a second-place finish at the Valero Texas Open, but he has never done better than 15th at the Masters. Last year he finished even with Woods at five-over.
Phil Mickelson is the No. 10 ranked player in the world, but he is the third favorite this weekend at 10/1, and there is a big drop off after him. Justin Rose is 20/1, following by Charl Schwartzel at 22/1, while Dustin Johnson, Lee Westwood and Louis Oosthuizen are all at 25/1.
Defending Masters champion Bubba Watson is 33/1, which isn’t a surprise considering his mild struggles early in the season. He’s finished in the top 20 in five of six tournaments this year, also missing a cut, but he has only finished in the top 10 twice. Those were a fourth-place finish at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions and a ninth-place finish at the WGC Accenture Match Play, so while Watson is playing consistent, he’s not playing his best.
