Derek Ernst earned 500 FedEx Cup points for winning his first PGA Tour event on Sunday at the 2013 Wells Fargo Championship. With the win, he moved up from No. 196 to No. 32 in the points standings after competing in eight events this year.
Ernst finished at 8-under overall for the weekend, defeating David Lynn in a four-hole playoff to capture his first title at the pro level. The rookie’s last win dated back to college prior Quail Hollow.
Lynn moved up to No. 25 in total points for his second-place finish. The top of the list remained relatively unchanged aside from Mickelson’s move. For the full point totals, click here.
