Tiger Woods didn’t have a classic start to the 2013 Memorial, but he was still in the hunt when he teed off on Saturday at 2-over. However, he posted a ghastly 7-over 79 in the third round, carding three bogeys and three double bogeys, all of which came on the back nine. That round effectively ended his tournament early, and he played out the string on Sunday with an even par round, which put him into a tie for 65th at 8-over par.

Rory McIlroy also didn’t have a great tournament. He got off to a horrible start on Thursday by putting up a 6-over 78 in the first round, and couldn’t improve on that score over the next three rounds. He finished the tournament at 6-over and in a tie for 57th.
Matt Kuchar was the steadiest performer all week at the Memorial, and he took hom the title while finishing at 12-under. Kuchar posted rounds of 4-under, 2-under, 2-under, and 4-under to pace the field, winning by two strokes over Kevin Chappell, who finished at 10-under.
