Adam Scott, with no Tiger Woods or Justin Rose in the lineup, is the headliner for this week’s PGA Tour stop at Congressional Country Club.
2013 AT&T National: Adam Scott, Jason Day, and Marc Leishman make up all-Australian trio at Congressional
Australia will be well represented this week at Congressional Country Club.

The reigning Masters champion, who became the first Australian to win at Augusta when he defeated Angel Cabrera in a playoff in April, will tee off in the opening two rounds of the AT&T National with countrymen Jason Day and Marc Leishman.
Scott enters the week after a T45 at the U.S. Open, while Day finished tied for second at Merion Golf Club. Leishman failed to defend his 2012 Travelers Championship title, finishing T30 at last week’s event at TPC River Highlands.
The group will tee off No. 1 at 12:27 p.m. ET on Thursday and No. 10 at 7:27 a.m. on Friday.
Other groups of note include:
Ken Duke, Billy Horschel, Nick Watney (No. 10, 7:39 a.m. Thursday/No. 1, 12:39 p.m. Friday) -- 187th time’s a charm for 44-year-old Duke, who last week notched his first tour win in 187 starts. Horschel, who boasts five top-10 results this season -- including a T4 at the Open -- may or may not show up in his octopus pants, while Watney hopes to put three consecutive missed cuts behind him.
Brandt Snedeker, Hunter Mahan, K.J. Choi (No. 1, 12:39 p.m. Thursday/No. 10, 7:39 a.m. Friday) -- Mahan carded an 8-under 62 in last week’s opening round and shared fourth place at Merion. Snedeker was on a roll until a rib injury put him on the DL. Still, the No. 8 player in the world, who comes in after a T17 at the Open following two straight MCs, has one win and five other top 5 finishes in 13 starts in 2013.
Rickie Fowler, Jim Furyk, Angel Cabrera (No. 10, 7:27 a.m. Thursday/No. 1, 12:27 p.m. Friday) -- Fowler, who’s fresh off a fourth-place finish (with partner Bubba Watson) at the two-day Brad Faxon/Billy Andrade CVS Caremark Charity Classic, posted a 64 in Sunday’s Travelers finale.
