After winning the British Open with a phenomenal closing round on Sunday, Phil Mickelson has moved himself into second place on the 2013 FedEx Cup leaderboard.
2013 FedEx Cup standings: Phil Mickelson moves into second place
Lefty jumps two spots in the standings after winning the 2013 British Open on Sunday.

Mickelson was brilliant on the last day at Muirfield, birdieing four of his final six holes to capture the Open title and advance his position in the overall standings. The win moves him from fourth place to second, where he sits 363 points behind Cup leader Tiger Woods. It’s been a good couple of weeks in the standings for Lefty, who just came off a victory at the Scottish Open.
Despite a forgetful round on Sunday that left him five strokes off the lead, Woods remains the man to beat in the overall standings. His four wins are more than any other player, and he’s added six top-ten finishes to go along with them.
Mickelson leapfrogs Matt Kuchar and Brandt Snedeker, who drop to third and fourth place, respectively. Snedeker finished the British Open tied for 11th, while Kuchar tied for 15th.
Billy Horschel rounds out the top five, while the rest of the top ten remain unchanged from last week.
Here are the standings for the current top ten. Check out the PGA Tour’s official website for a complete listing.
