Tiger Woods and his ex-caddie Steve Williams apparently patched things up after Woods and Williams’ current employer, Adam Scott, finished their final rounds at the British Open on Sunday.

Tiger Woods and Steve Williams appeared to patch up their rift on the 72nd hole of the British Open.
The two, who teamed up to win 13 of 14 major championships before Woods sacked Williams in 2011, shook hands on the 18th green, shared a few words, and parted after Williams gave Tiger a friendly pat on the back.
“It was [more than perfunctory pleasantries],” Woods told reporters after another disappointing finish (T6) in a major for the owner of 14 major titles. “He was saying it was a good fight out there today.”
Williams looped for Woods for 13 years before they had a rancorous falling out and Scott hired the veteran bagman. Shortly after adding Williams to his team, Scott won the 2011 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational but was upstaged by his caddie, who took an indirect, but intentional shot at his former boss.
“I’ve been a caddie for 33 years,” Williams boasted to CBS following Scott’s victory, which left Woods 18 strokes back of the Australian, “and that’s been the best week of my life ...The greatest week of my life.”
A few months later, Williams was forced to apologize for using a racist taunt to describe his glee at Scott’s win at Firestone.
”My aim was to shove it right up that black ar*****e,” he said in China during an awards dinner.
Scott credited Williams with helping him make a critical putt during his Masters playoff triumph over Angel Cabrera in April. Woods, who is slated for a reunion with Scott and Williams at next month’s Bridgestone event, remains on a quest for his 15th major.
