RBC Canadian Open scores 2013: Hunter Mahan takes lead in Round 2

The second round of the RBC Canadian Open got underway on Friday and the leaderboard is starting to take shape.

Brenden Steele, who was leading after one round, has tumbled 26 spots down the board and the top 10 looks quite different than it did at the end of Thursday’s round.

Hunter Mahan has taken over first place after shooting 8-under par in Round 2. He’s trailed closely by John Merrick and Bubba Watson, both of whom had solid outings on Friday.

Tommy Gainey bounced back more than any other golfer on Friday. After shooting 1-over par on Thursday, Gainey’s score of 8-under on Friday moved him up 87 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for sixth place.
