The top of the PGA Championship leaderboard continues to fluctuate. Jim Furyk and Jason Dufner are currently tied for the lead at 8-under, but things seem to consistently changing on a busy Saturday afternoon.
PGA Championship leaderboard: Jim Furyk, Jason Dufner lead, Adam Scott 1 back
Jason Dufner and Jim Furyk are now tied for the lead with Adam Scott lurking just one stroke back.
Furyk rebounded well from a rough start to take the lead outright at 9-under before a bogey at No. 15. He made the turn at even-par on the round with birdies at No. 10 and No. 12 to catapult himself into the lead.
Dufner hasn’t been as sharp as he was on Friday, but he’s still been able to avoid most of the damage as a double bogey on No. 5 is his only major slip up of the day. He also missed a short par putt at No. 8, but made up for it by notching a birdie on No. 10.
Adam Scott has also rebounded from some early issues and is one stroke behind the leaders. Back-to-back bogeys on the second and third dropped Scott back but, following 10 straight pars, he drove the green on the 323-yard Par 4 14th hole.
Scott narrowly missed the eagle attempt, settling for a tap-in birdie to move back to 7-under. He’s currently tied for third place with Henrik Stenson. Jonas Blixt rounds out the top five after he carded a 4-under 66 on Saturday.
