Former Hacker in Chief Bill Clinton took time out from some serious golf to inform world No. 3 Rory McIlroy, via Twitter, that his putting still needed some attention.

McIlroy, apparently the POTUS whisperer when it comes to golf, tweeted after attending a White House dinner last year that he would help President Obama -- who needed four putts on his opening hole during a recent outing on Martha’s Vineyard -- cut down on those costly strokes around the green.

It would appear the First Duffer could use more lessons.
McIlroy, with two birdies and a double-bogey through nine holes (the back nine) when the horn sounded halting play for the second time on Thursday, was at even-par as he made the turn at The Barclays. Should the weather ever clear up, McIlroy will make the turn in his first round at Liberty National Golf Club four strokes back of a trio of players.
