2013 Deutsche Bank Championship: Tee times and pairings for Friday’s first round

The 2013 Deutsche Bank Championship opens Friday, with Tiger, Phil and Adam Scott set to tee off at 8:40 a.m. ET.

The first round of the 2013 Deutsche Bank Championship tees off at TPC Boston at 7:40 a.m. ET Friday. Tiger Woods, Adam Scott and Phil Mickelson are set to tee off at 8:40 a.m. from No. 10. All three players have won the Deutsche Bank Championship, and Woods’ play after dealing with back spasms during The Barclays will be a story to watch in the pairing.

Deutsche Bank Championship: Tiger Woods still favorite at TPC Boston

Rory McIlory, the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship winner, tees off at 12:46 p.m. His group features Roberto Castro and Nick Watney. With only 100 players in the field, the Tour should have no trouble moving the threesomes through the lengthy TPC Boston layout, even if there are weather delays throughout the first two rounds. It’s not quite the limited field of a WGC event, but with threesomes off split tees, the Tour has a bit of a luxury when it comes to scheduling this week. Even with that cushion, they will send them out bright and early before 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday to start the second leg of the 2013 postseason.
