Tiger Woods is coming off an outstanding performance at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, and he is the favorite to capture the 2013 PGA Championship at the Oak Hill Country Club this weekend. Woods has 7/2 odds to win, followed by Phil Mickelson at 11/1.
PGA Championship 2013 odds: Tiger Woods listed as 7/2 favorite
Tiger hasn’t won a major since 2008, but oddsmakers still like him to win his fifth PGA Championship.

It was the eighth time Woods has won at Firestone Country Club, the fifth PGA Tour event he’s won this year and the 79th Tour victory of his career. He reclaimed the world No. 1 ranking early in the season, and he’s not coincidentally been a favorite in each of the majors so far.
Mickelson is the most recent major championship winner; he won the British Open for the first time in July. This year’s other major champions, Adam Scott (Masters) and Justin Rose (U.S. Open), are also among the favorites to win the PGA Championship.
Here are the odds for some of the leading contenders, from Bovada via OddsShark:
