Official World Golf Rankings 2013: David Howell moves into top 100 with Euro victory

There was no change in the top 10.

The PGA Tour season may be over, but there’s still golf being played elsewhere around the country as well as overseas.

Over in Europe, David Howell won his first tournament in seven years by claiming the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St. Andrews in a playoff over Peter Uihlein. The thrilling victory helped Howell move up 82 spots to No. 94 in the 2013 World Golf Rankings. Uihlein went from No. 100 to No. 69 thanks to his second-place finish.

There were a few highly ranked players who participated in the tournament at St. Andrews, including Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen. Schwartzel held firm at No. 19 thanks to a strong showing over the weekend, while Oosthuizen dropped one spot to No. 29.

Back in the United States, Chesson Hadley took home the Web.com Tour Championship, moving up 76 spots to 114th in the world in the process.

No top 10 players were in action, so there was no change there. Here’s that top 10, while the full rankings can be downloaded as a PDF from the Official World Golf Rankings website:
