Rickie Fowler has not exactly made a big splash on the golf course (one win, the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship). With the help of professional cliff diver and fellow flat-belly David Colturi, however, the 25-year-old flashy dresser showed off some moves as he and his teeny-weeny Speedo jack-knifed into the water from Hell’s Gate at Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas ahead of the June 7th second stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series.
Rickie Fowler, in a sprayed-on Speedo, takes a dive
Rickie Fowler trades his snazzy golf garb for just the hint of some bathing trunks in a promo for Red Bull’s Cliff Diving World Series.
But first, Colturi shows up on a golf course dressed as Fowler’s stunt double in the Cobra/Puma golfer’s neon orange and Tiger Woods’ favorite flat-billed cap.

“Wow, that’s a pretty impressive outfit there,” Fowler says as he eyes Colturi’s threads. “You nailed it [dressing the part of a perfectly coutured 20-something golfer].
As for Rickie’s water skills, Colturi sounds impressed.
“Just giving him a couple pointers, he really dove right in,” he says. “he really did a great job. I would compare my golf game to his diving. We were really like pretty much on par.”
Not surprising, considering Fowler’s had some practice jumping into lakes.
Fowler, of course, has never been content with just slapping balls around a PGA Tour track; he’s renowned for his motocross enthusiasm, an activity he blended with the staid game he plays for a living into moto-golf.
Fowler, we imagine, dried himself off in time to make his 1:27 pm ET Thursday tee time at this week’s Memorial Tournament.
