There will be a lot on the line at Royal Aberdeen on Sunday. The field will be competing for the Scottish Open title, while the players attempt to sharpen their form for the Open Championship next week. Those who aren’t qualified for the third major of the year can change that with a strong final round.
Scottish Open 2014: Tee times, TV schedule and online streaming for Sunday’s final round
Many of the best players in the world will play their final competitive round before the British Open, including an impressive field at the Scottish Open.

Three players who aren’t qualified for the British Open, but finish in the top 12 at Royal Aberdeen will earn a place in the field next week. There are currently five non-qualified players among the top 12 and several others just on the outskirts. For those already qualified, Sunday will serve as their final competitive round before the open. Justin Rose is among the players attempting to round into form and he will begin the final round tied for the lead. Rose shot a 5-under 66 on Saturday to improve to 10-under. He’ll open the final round tied with Marc Warren. The two will tee off in the final pairing of the day and are scheduled to tee off at 10:05 a.m. ET.
With a win, Rose would attempt to duplicate the feat Phil Mickelson pulled off last year when he won the Scottish Open then went on to claim the Claret Jug the following week. Mickelson is in contention to repeat as Scottish Open Champion himself. He’ll need a good round to do it though, as he will begin the final round at 2-under. Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler are among the other players near the top of the leaderboard.
Viewers in the United States will be able to watch some of the final round live with Golf Channel providing live coverage from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The late groups will begin teeing off after 9 a.m. so viewers can catch a glimpse of their round. Rose will likely be approaching the turn when coverage ends and switches gears to the PGA Tour. The broadcast will also be available online with a live simulcast from NBC Sports LiveExtra.
