Henrik Stenson appears displeased with his club, snaps it

Henrik Stenson is known to have a bit of a temper when things don’t go well. He wasn’t playing poorly on Thursday at the British Open, but he wasn’t having an easy go of it either. He ran into some trouble on No. 17 when his ball wound up in some very thick rough. Stenson was barely able to advance his ball -- and it remained in the rough -- and that was apparently enough for him to decide he’d had enough of that particular club.

The good news for Stenson is he only has one hole left and probably didn’t need that club again anyway. The bad news is that probably hurt.

It’s far from the first time Stenson’s anger has cropped up. He rearranged his locker following the BMW Championship last year and previously took some frustration out on his driver.

There was also the time he did a little groundskeeping work following a poor shot at the 2012 Masters.

Hopefully the Callaway equipment truck is still around, Stenson needs a new iron.
