Sergio Garcia pleading with his ball is captivating

Just be good, ball! It’s all Sergio wants.

We’ve all had conversations with inanimate objects, but not many of us can have conversations with inanimate objects the way Sergio Garcia can:

The Spaniard -- oddly yelling at his ball in his non-native language -- goes through about 7 emotions here. At first he's plaintive, mournfully begging the ball just to be good. For him. Be good, ball!

But his begging turns angry, as the ball refuses to be good for him. “Please! Please,” he shrills, still using polite words but with a tone that is distinctly not polite.

No word on whether or not Garcia has mended his relationship with his ball. He’s currently back three strokes of Rory McIlroy after a strong charge, but it’ll be tough to catch up on the back nine without Rory collapsing.
