RBC Canadian Open 2014: Tee times, TV schedule for Sunday

Jim Furyk will open the final round with the lead, will he be able to hold off Tim Clark and others for the win?

Matthew Lewis

Jim Furyk hasn’t won on the PGA Tour in nearly four years. The 16-time winner will have a good opportunity to add a 17th victory to his resume on Sunday at the RBC Canadian Open where he will begin the day with a three-stroke lead. Furyk has been close to flawless thus far, carding only a single dropped shot through 54 holes. At 15-under, he’s in great position to come away with the win, but will still need to play well to hold off the rest of the field.

Tim Clark will begin the day in second place at 12-under with Kyle Stanley opening the final round five off the lead at 10-under. With bad weather in the forecast, the Tour opted to move tee times to earlier in the morning and send the players off in groups of three. That means both Stanley and Clark will join Furyk in the final group on Sunday. The three are scheduled to tee off at 10:05 a.m. ET.

Canadian Graham Delaet is going to need a strong closing round if he’s going to win on home soil. He shot an even-par 70 in the third round and is seven strokes off the lead at 8-under. He will play in the third-to-last group, teeing off at 9:45 a.m.

The early tee times may not have a major impact on the play on the course, but they will disrupt the television schedule. Golf Channel is scheduled to begin its broadcast at 1 p.m. with CBS taking over the broadcast at 3 p.m. Barring a delay, the round should be completed by the time CBS begins its coverage, meaning the broadcast will be a tape-delay of the final round. Although live coverage will likely be limited, fans will be able to watch the broadcasts online with streams from Golf Channel and CBS.

Here is a complete look at the final round coverage and tee times. All times Eastern.
