Billy Horschel wearing green ‘camo frog’ pants on Sunday at the PGA Championship

With John Daly missing the cut, Billy Horschel is here to satisfy the Sunday broadcast’s requirement to show ridiculous pants.

Billy Horschel will never have the pantsgame of John Daly, but Sunday’s number might be his most aggressive attempt yet. He’s going with a purple shirt on top of some sort of garment that’s an extension of the Valhalla fairway. And he’s added a green belt to keep things consistent.

I guess Ralph Lauren calls these trousers “camo frog.” Horschel’s first Daly impersonation showed up last year at Merion, when he wore those Ralph Lauren octopus pants (pictured above).

Horschel went with some really loud madras on Friday at Valhalla, but this frog combination is far worse.

Horschel starts the final round eight shots back of leader Rory McIlroy. So he’s playing some good golf, but he doesn’t have a chance to win. That won’t prevent him from making it to the TV broadcast though.

Update: Horschel’s pants played had to play a role as TNT tried to fill air time during a weather delay. Rickie Fowler doesn’t seem impressed.
