2014 WGC Bridgestone Invitational streaming: How to watch online, TV coverage and more

Sam Greenwood

The WGC events have been great for golf. They feature a great field at a challenging venue, which has made for entertaining theatre. This year’s version of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational has been no exception.

On Friday, we witnessed an almost unprecedented run from Sergio Garcia as he birdied 8 of his last 9 holes. It capped off a blistering 27 of the back nine and has many of us thinking that Sergio is ready to take the next step in his career. But there is still plenty of golf to be played. With 36 holes left, anything can happen.

While Tiger Woods has generally been up and down, we all know he is capable of putting a magical round together at Firestone Country Club. Rory McIlroy is also lurking, fresh off of his impressive Open Championship win. Justin Rose, Rickie Fowler, Keegan Bradley and many more proven winners are well within striking distance as we head to the weekend.

It appears that the weather forecast will play some games with the weekend broadcast schedule. The Golf Channel and CBS have adjusted accordingly. Here’s how you can watch the third round of the Bridgestone Invitational.
