Deutsche Bank Championship 2014 live stream: How to watch online, TV coverage and more

Rory McIlroy and Jason Day are two of a handful of big names in contention at the Deutsche Bank Championship. The title and a lot of FedEx Cup points will be on the line on Monday.

No, your television guide isn’t incorrect, that is live PGA Tour golf on a Monday and not even because of a weather delay. The Deutsche Bank Championship skips the Sunday finish and is instead the only PGA Tour event to run from Friday to Monday. Although unorthodox, the event is set up for an excellent final round and should be an entertaining addition to your Labor Day.

Only the top 70 players in the FedEx Cup standings will advance in on to the BMW Championship so points will be at a premium at TPC Boston. Making a significant move up the standings can take weeks of strong play during the regular season but with point totals inflated in the playoff events, a single victory can go a long way. Russell Henley will begin the final round with a one-stroke lead and a win would prove how much a player can jump. Henley began the week No. 62 in the FedEx Cup standings but could jump all the way to No. 1 with a win, depending on how others finish.

If he’s going to win, he’ll have to hold off an impressive field of challengers. Billy Horschel is one off the lead at 11-under while Jason Day and Rory McIlroy are tied with Chris Kirk for third place at 10-under. McIlroy, the No. 1 player in the world, make a run up the leaderboard with a 7-under round of 64 on Sunday.

Golf Channel and NBC will combine on final round coverage. The coverage will begin at 11:30 a.m. ET on Golf Channel, where it will remain until 1:30 p.m. Coverage will then shift to NBC for the rest of the round with Golf Channel moving to “spotlight coverage” of the final three holes. There will also be a live online simulcast of the broadcast from NBC Sports LIve Extra and a pair of featured group streams from PGATour.com.

Here is a complete look at the final round coverage. All times Eastern.
