This is some class stuff from Jordan Spieth, who pushed the margin with Patrick Reed to 5-up over Ian Poulter and Stephen Gallacher. The fist-pump and celebration before the ball even dropped in the hole is a veteran Ryder Cup move from the rookie.

The Reed and Spieth pairing was called a risk and unnecessary gamble by Tom Watson, but they have been the USA’s best duo by far. And it hasn’t just been Spieth -- Reed has been almost perfect with the putter and firing darts into the flagsticks on approach.
