Jimmy Walker, Victor Dubuission just miss back-to-back holes-in-one

Good-good on this par-3 means everyone’s putters stay in the bag.

This is one of those rare instances in a match where nobody has to take their putter out of the bag.

Victor Dubuisson and Graeme McDowell are crushing the exhausted American duo of Jimmy Walker and Rickie Fowler. They’re 5-up through nine holes and it looked like it was headed to a 6-up advantage when Dubuisson stuffed one just over a foot from the hole at the par-3 10th.

Dubuisson has been flawless and carving up a USA team for the second straight day, and this was just the latest shot NBC’s Gary Koch called the best of the week at a particular hole. Even though Walker has been hitting an array of shanks and sloppy shots in his fourth match in four sessions, he still stepped up and put it just as close at Dubussion, opting for the right-to-left path and coming up at the hole from the other side.

After walking up to the green, both teams correctly decided to move on and concede both. And that’s how you play a hole in less than five minutes.
