Honda Classic 2015 live stream: How to watch online, TV coverage and more

Weather permitting, the field will try to wrap up the third round on Sunday.

Peter Casey-USA TODAY Sports

The weather at the Honda Classic put a major wrench into play during the first three rounds of the event, but if the rain subsides, the field will try to get in the third round on Sunday, setting up a Monday finish. Play is scheduled to resume at 10 a.m. ET barring another delay.

While the field was able to get on the course long enough Saturday to wrap up the second round, the weather didn’t hold out much longer. Heavy rain hit before the majority of the field even teed off in their third round. Only 24 players remaining in the field managed to finish a hole in the third round before the weather hit. Not only did it wipe out the rest of the day, but heavy rain also took its toll on the course, flooding most of the course while causing damages to some greens and bunkers. How the course holds up on Sunday will be something to monitor. That is if the heavy rain and high winds hold off long enough for the field to get back on the course.

None of the leaders were able to begin their third rounds. Padraig Harrington is currently in the lead at 7-under with Patrick Reed at 6-under in seconds. Ian Poulter and Brendan Steele are both at 5-under and two shots back. The leaders are scheduled to hit the course until nearly 2 p.m. and that could get pushed back if weather forces another stoppage.

If the players are able to get on the course, there will be extensive television and online coverage. Golf Channel and NBC will combine for at least five hours of live coverage. Golf Channel is scheduled to begin coverage at 1 p.m. with the broadcast shifting to NBC at 3 p.m. Golf Channel will provide spotlight coverage of holes Nos. 15, 16 and 17 from 3 to 5 p.m.

In addition to the television coverage, there will also be a pair of online streams. PGATour.com will have featured group coverage in the morning before shifting to featured hole coverage of No. 13 and No. 15 in the afternoon. Rickie Fowler, Ryan Palmer and Russell Henley are scheduled to make up the featured group. They will resume play on No. 1 when play starts on Sunday. There will also be a simulcast stream of the TV coverage from NBC Sports LiveExtra.
