Lydia Ko, the 17-year-old LPGA star who sits atop the golf world, really enjoys winning, as her second straight W of the 2015 season and 10th as a professional would indicate. Fresh off her Women’s Australian Open victory a week ago, Ko on Sunday hoisted her second New Zealand Women’s Open trophy, finishing with a so-so (for her) 1-under 71 at Clearwater Golf Club in Christchurch to get to 14-under for the 54-hole event.

Another tournament, another win for 17-year-old Lydia Ko.

Congrats to @Lko424 on back to back wins. #impressive
— Annika Sorenstam (@ANNIKA59) March 1, 2015 "The more Ws the better," Ko told the Associated Press after leaving runner-up Hannah Green and the rest of the field in her dust. "I think I had a really good [offseason] break, which got me fresh going into this year."

— Chris Chaney (@Wrong_Fairway) March 1, 2015 On the way to her triumph, Ko shattered the Clearwater course record on Saturday, barely missing the magic score of 59 and settling for a 61.
Sunday’s round was not nearly so artistic, but her two bogeys, one double, and five birdies was more than enough for the South Korean-born New Zealander to give the hometown Kiwis what they wanted. “I really wanted to win in front of such great crowds,” Ko said. “This is probably the biggest crowd I’ve seen. It’s always cool winning on home ground.”
Or anywhere else, it would appear, for the whiz kid, who each week proves that the youngest golfer of either gender to ascend to the No. 1 ranking has no intention of giving it up.
Lydia Ko wins. Again. That's now 10 pro titles. No biggie, just a once-in-a-lifetime talent.
