Michelle Wie, whose twerking celebration after winning the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open went viral, showed off some new moves on Thursday after holing out for an eagle in the second round of this week’s LPGA Tour event in Honolulu.

Hoping to defend her title at the Lotte Championship, which launched the former child prodigy on her way to her first major victory two months later, Wie watched her second shot on the par-4 15th roll toward and drop into the cup.

“I had about like 117 yards, a little gap wedge,” Wie explained after scoring a 3-under 69 to get into a tie for eighth at 5-under, five shots behind 36-hole co-leaders Sei Young Kim and I.K. Kim. “I kind of saw it roll over the hill and I was like, ‘Oh, okay. It’s disappearing.’

“Then everyone went crazy,” said the Hawaiian native who’s clearly a fan favorite on home turf at Oahu’s Ko Olina Golf Club. “It was pretty fun.”

Wie appears to have shaken off injuries and illnesses that have dogged her since her major breakthrough at Pinehurst. Thanks to a finger infliction and bouts with a sinus infection and strep throat, she has struggled through a shaky start to 2015 in which her best result through seven events was a T24 at the season-opener in Florida.

Her shot-making is way off in 2015. Now 85th in greens in regulation, Wie was third last year, though the eagle could do something for her confidence.

“I definitely feel like I have a good chance [to win this week],” she said. “ You know, I’m close, so I just need to go out there on the weekend and try to make something happen.”

As for her post-eagle moves, the Stanford grad took to Twitter for a self-review:
