The first 18 holes of the 2015 U.S. Open are in the books and the 156-player field is set for a second tour around the course on Friday. Like during the first round, FOX combined with USOpen.com will provide extensive coverage both on television and online.
U.S. Open 2015 live stream: How to watch Friday’s round online
The U.S. Open heads to the second round there will once again be extensive online coverage available.

It was an eventful opening day from Chambers Bay on Thursday as players got their first competitive holes in on the course and many fans got their first look at the course on television. For the most part, conditions were relatively tame and allowed for some scoring opportunities. Dustin Johnson and Henrik Stenson were among those who took advantage and both will open action Friday tied for the lead at 5-under. Several other notable names also carded a red number to open the event and 25 players will begin Friday under par. That includes Jordan Spieth, Jason Day and Jason Dufner at 2-under while Phil Mickelson sits at 1-under.
Not everyone was quite as fortunate in the first round and a few big names will need to play well on Friday to even make the cut. Making the cut is probably out of the question for Tiger Woods who shot an 10-over round of 80 -- his worst ever in a U.S. Open. He was unable to get much of anything going and really struggled to implement the recent work he’s put into his swing. The cut line heading into Friday is at 3-over and even if it rises some, Woods will still likely need a round in the low 60s to even make the weekend. Based on the form he showed Thursday, that is extremely unlikely. Woods will be among the morning wave in the second round as he’s scheduled to tee off at 11:28 a.m. ET.
Despite playing extremely well in recent majors, Rickie Fowler is in even worse position than Woods, He shot an 81 and is a longshot to make it to Saturday. He will tee off with Woods again, joined by Louis Oosthuizen. The three were the focus of the afternoon featured group stream on Thursday, but Spieth, Day and Justin Rose will be the featured group on Friday morning. The three are scheduled to tee off at 11:17 a.m.
Like they did on Thursday, FOX Sports 1 and FOX will combine for television coverage on Friday. The broadcast will start at noon on FOX Sports 1 and remain there until it transitions to FOX at 8 p.m. for the final three hours. Online viewers will be able to catch the broadcast thanks to a live simulcast stream from FOX Sports Go. The simulcast is available to viewers with a television subscription and will run from 1 to 11 p.m.
In addition to the simulcast stream, there will also be a featured groups stream, a featured holes stream focusing on Nos. 12 and 15 and the “U.S. Open 360” coverage. That coverage is a mix of analysis of the round as well as live look-ins from around the course. The “U.S. Open 360” stream will begin at 10 a.m. while the featured holes and featured groups streams will begin at 10:30 a.m.
