U.S. Open live stream 2015: How to watch Sunday’s round online

There will be four streams for the final round from Chambers Bay.

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Barring a playoff, there are only 18 holes left to play in the 2015 U.S. Open. The field of 75 remaining players is ready for the final round on Sunday in what should be a tightly contested run for the championship. Four players will enter the final round tied for the lead at 4-under. Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Jason Day and Branden Grace all took very different routes to reaching 4-under through 54, but they all got there.

Those four headline a group of eight players under par heading into Sunday. With how difficult the course can play, it’s not out of the question the leaders could come back to the pack. Some 25 players could still be in contention for the title, although it will take a low round early for many to have a shot. Louis Oosthuizen did just that on Saturday, posting a 4-under round of 66 to work his way back into contention. He is three strokes off the lead at 1-under, but no one has played better recently. He got off to a rough start and was 9-over after his first 20 holes. Since then, he’s played his last 34 holes at 10-under. If he continues that on Sunday, he could certainly be the last man standing.

For the four leaders, a round in red numbers might just be enough to clinch the championship. Only six players shot under par on Saturday and only two carded a score better than 1-under. Players have been able to make birdies, but avoiding bogeys is just as difficult. It’s possible 5-under could be good enough to win. If the course plays on Sunday like it did Saturday, 6-under would seemingly be a lock for victory.

With a four-way tie for the lead and other players lurking, it should be a terrific final round and viewers will have a few options to follow it only. There will be four online streams, allowing viewers to watch the main television coverage and three additional streams of bonus coverage. FOX will wrap up its television coverage on Sunday with the broadcast scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET. FOX Sports Go will provide a live simulcast stream of the television coverage. FOX Sports Go and USOpen.com will both provide three additional streams. There will be a featured group stream, a featured holes stream and “U.S. Open 360” coverage. The featured hole stream will once again focus on Nos. 12 and 15. Those holes could play a pivotal role in deciding the championship, especially as the leaders come down the back stretch.

While some U.S. Open tracks severly limit birdies, that isn’t necessarily the case. Making birdies isn’t easy at Chambers Bay, but there are a few opportunities. The difficult aspect of Chambers Bay is grinding 18 holes and limiting the damage. A bad shot can quickly turn into a bogey or worse. It really is a scramble for players, and it should be a very entertaining last round.

Here is a complete look at the final round coverage. All times Eastern.
