Phil Mickelson’s whiffed chip sums up his U.S. Open

The career grand slam will have to wait at least another year.

It was a rough final three rounds for Phil Mickelson at the 2015 U.S. Open. After shooting a 69 to open the tournament, he shot 74, 77 and 73 to finish. You know he’s having a rough week when even his short game has issues. Mickelson finished his tournament with a double bogey on No. 18, thanks in part to him completely whiffing on a chip shot.

It wasn’t all bad for Mickelson, At least he hit one awesome chip shot on Friday.
