— PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) June 5, 2015 Dufner has not won since the 2013 PGA Championship and posted his first top-10 of the 2015 season at last week’s AT&T Byron Nelson. But he’s making a lot of noise at Jack Nicklaus’ tourney, what with his eagle on Thursday from 59 feet on the par-5 15th that gave him a share of the lead.
His “double eagle” on Friday -- from 6 1/2 feet on the par-5 15th and his ace with a 6-iron on the par-3 16th -- put him in first place by himself briefly at 10-under, though a follow-on bogey knocked him out of the lead.
The last ace recorded at @MemorialGolf was by @stevestricker on #8 in the second round en route to his 2011 victory.
