Dan Jenkins was at it again Saturday, after Tiger Woods shot the highest score of his professional career and finished the third round of the Memorial in last place.
Dan Jenkins kicks Tiger Woods while he’s down
Dan Jenkins twists the knife, congratulates Tiger Woods for shooting the writer’s age: 85.

This time, Jenkins kicked Woods while he was down, tweaking the 172nd-ranked player in the world about the score that made Woods look as if No. 172 were too lofty a position on the Official World Golf Rankings.
I’ve never shot my age, but congrats to Tiger, who did it today: 85
— Dan Jenkins (@danjenkinsgd) June 6, 2015 The two have had a rocky history, most recently when Jenkins said Woods had beaten a bunch of “nobodies” to win most of his majors.
“There’s much more talent at the top (and the bottom) than there was during Woods’ peak years. Woods beat a lot of nobodies to win most of his majors,” Hall of Fame sportswriter Jenkins told the Star-Telegram about the state of competition on tour during Woods’ heyday and now. “Yeah, there was Phil [Mickelson] and [Ernie] Els around, in and out, but go back and look who was second to him in those majors and tell me where they are now.”
And that came after Woods lashed out in writing at Jenkins over a relatively unfunny parody the Hall of Fame writer penned for Golf Digest that would have gone unnoticed but for Woods’ angry rebuttal in the Players Tribune.
So that’s where we are in the Jenkins vs. Woods feud. The only revenge for the struggling former world No. 1 would be a stellar round in Sunday’s finale at Muirfield Village. So, Tiger, got game?
