Update: Weather again changed the planned schedule with a 10 hour and 28 minute wind delay causing major havoc on Saturday morning. Play resumed shortly after 1 p.m. ET and the new plan is to complete the second round on Saturday then begin the third round on Sunday and play the final round on Monday. That is, unless weather delays change those plans.
British Open 2015 streaming: How to watch Saturday’s round live online
There will be a bonus stream on Saturday with extended second round coverage.

★★★
Despite playing well into the night at St. Andrews, more than 40 players weren’t able to complete their second rounds in the 2015 British Open before play was suspended due to darkness. As a result, 42 players will be back out on the course beginning at 2 a.m. ET to wrap their rounds before the third round begins a couple hours later.
The second round had barely gotten under way on Friday before heavy rain began to fall. It was enough to flood the course in areas and force a delay that lasted more than three hours. The rest of the second round was pushed back as a result and more than a quarter of the field did not finish the second round. That includes current leader Dustin Johnson, who sits at 10-under through 13 holes. Johnson has been nearly flawless thus far with only one bogey on his cards. He’s faltered down the stretch in major championships before, but at least appears to be a strong contender once again.
Jason Day and Jordan Spieth are both chasing Johnson and they too will be back out on the course bright and early. Spieth is playing in the same pairing as Johnson and has some ground to make up. He’s even-par on his second round and sits at 5-under for the tournament. Day is closer to the lead at 8-under and like Johnson, has taken advantage of the St. Andrews layout with massive length off the tee. Both are among the leaders in driving distance this week which has frequently set them up with short irons or wedges into the greens.
The online streaming options early on Saturday will be limited before the array of streams begin with the third round. ESPN altered its television coverage to begin at 2 a.m. to air the start of the resumed second round. The coverage will also include the International BBC stream on ESPN3. That stream will run from 2 a.m. until the end of the second round. Coverage will then take a break before resuming at 7 a.m.
The “Road Hole” at St. Andrews will once again have a dedicated stream as the featured hole of the round. There will be a featured group stream, focused on one pairing in the morning and another, likely the final group, in the afternoon. Those are yet to be set though as the third round tee times and pairings won’t be final until the second round concludes. The other three streams include a simulcast of the ESPN broadcast, a Spanish feed and the International BBC feed.
