The 144th British Open will get to play one more day on Monday thanks to Mother Nature and strong gusty winds on Saturday. Fast greens and winds over 40 mph forced a delay Saturday. Because of this delay the British Open will conclude on a Monday for the first time since 1988, and just the second time in the championship’s history.
2015 British Open weather forecast: Less wind but more rain coming Sunday at St. Andrews
Due to winds of over 40 mph on Saturday ,the British open will play on a Monday for the first time in twenty-seven years.

Winds will be less on Sunday and Monday but there will be areas of showers on both days. Overall, I don’t see a reason why there should be any more delays.
