It was already scheduled to be an eventful Saturday at the 2015 PGA Championship, but a weather suspension on Friday means there will be even more golf played on Saturday. First, the second round needs to wrap up and not long after it does, the third round will begin. With additional golf, comes additional television and online coverage. The coverage on CBS will remain the same, but TNT will provide additional coverage with online coverage also being extended.

The extended coverage will help viewers watch a crowded leaderboard get sorted out. Jason Day and Matt Jones are tied for the lead at 9-under while Justin Rose is one shot back at 8-under. All three are yet to complete their second rounds and will be back out on the course at 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Of the 11 players at 6-under or better, five still have to complete their second rounds. That will make for some important early golf, as the leaders try to separate themselves from the pack.

There will also be some significant golf played at the bottom of the leaderboard. The cut line is currently projected at 2-over, but that could move to 1-over depending on how the players fare. Tiger Woods will be among the players trying to find some success and make the cut. He’s currently 4-over and will need to make some birdies if he’s going to make the cut. Woods has five holes to play and likely needs at least two birdies. He’s missed the cut in back-to-back majors and could be on the way to making that three straight.

Players are scheduled to resume the second round at 8 a.m. ET and the third round will begin 30 minutes after the second round ends. The cut will be made, third round tee times will be announced and the third round will resume shortly after. Depending on how the morning golf goes, the third round could start by 10:30 a.m. While a heavy storm caused play to be suspended on Friday, weather isn’t expected to be a significant problem on Saturday and the field is expected to get through the third round.

TNT’s coverage will begin when play resumes at 8 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. At that point CBS will take over TV coverage for the rest of the round. There will be a handful of streams, all scheduled to start at 8 a.m. A featured group stream will follow some of the early action then a pair of notable groups during the third round. PGA.com will also have a Par 3 stream. Both PGA.com and CBSSports.com will have simulcast of the TV coverage.
