How to watch the 2015 PGA Championship Sunday final round live online

We’re set up for an incredible final Sunday at the majors this year -- here’s how to watch Sunday from Whistling Straits.

The bad news is there are just 18 more holes of major championship golf this year. The good news is that we may be set up for the best final round of all here this Sunday at the PGA Championship.

Jordan Spieth and Jason Day, the two best and most consistent performers at the majors this year, will anchor the tee sheet for the last 18 holes. It’s an easy head-to-head final pairing showdown to hype at the season’s final major. Spieth is trying to become the first player ever to win the U.S. Open, Masters, and PGA Championship in the same year. He’s already 50-under combined at the majors this year. A 4-under 68 would best Tiger Woods’ 53-under mark set in 2000, which is hailed as the greatest majors season ever. Thankfully, Spieth birdied six of his last eight holes Saturday night to get back in it and give us all this hype and excitement heading into Sunday.

Then there’s Day, who is as talented as anyone in the world and has been in this position at the majors more than anyone not named Rory McIlroy over the last five years. He’s just 27 years old and should have a major win or two by now, but these Sundays have been tough hurdles to jump for the Aussie. There are already three runners-up, five top fives, and nine top 10s on a majors resume that started only in July of 2010. He’s obviously a world-class takent who is having his best year ever. That includes two Tour wins and 54-hole leads or co-leads at the last three majors. Now he needs to breakthrough for that first major title that’s commensurate with his talent and current place in the game.

The beneficiary of this tasty head-to-head situation is CBS, which will do their part in hyping the potential history in this final 18 holes of major championship golf. The last two hours or so on Saturday night became a manic birdiefest and it was hard to keep up as Jim Nantz yelped at each sequence. The PGA tends to do that. They’re not obsessed with protecting par and will let the best in the world shoot a mid-60s round and make runs up the leaderboard. It creates some fantastic golf for television, as we saw last year at Valhalla.

If you’re unable to watch on TV, there will be multiple streams available throughout Sunday afternoon. PGA.com will have a simulcast stream up and running of the TV broadcast, staring with TNT’s coverage at 11 a.m. ET. That simulcast will continue on CBSSports.com when they take over for the conclusion. Those broadcasts can get heavy on the commercials early, so there are also marquee groups and a par-3s stream to toggle to as well. Here are all your media options for Sunday:
