Jason Day gets emotional on the 18th green alongside family to celebrate PGA win
There were waterworks at the final hole after Jason Day finally got his major.

Jason Day was emotional before he could even putt out on the 18th green. He had been so close so many times before, and had a big lead at the moment. A no-doubt lag putt left him a tap-in for his first major championship. Day immediately broke down when he went to mark his ball for that final putt.
After he made it official by tapping in the final stroke of the majors season, there were even more tears as his wife Ellie and son Dash darted onto the green. Day, who comes from nothing, first hugged his caddie, Col Swatton, who has been a surrogate father of sorts. He was Day’s coach as an adolescent, the best man in his wedding, and his looper from the beginning.
The putt. The family. The tears. Congratulations, Jason Day. #PGAChamp http://t.co/66PtU8toHZ
