Jordan Spieth did his best to drum up support among the Fenway faithful for this week’s Deutsche Bank Championship in nearby Norton by tossing the ceremonial first pitch before the Red Sox-Yankees game Tuesday night.

— MLB (@MLB) September 1, 2015 Spieth, in Boston for this week’s second leg of the four-tourney FedEx Cup playoff set, the Deutsche Bank Championship, took the mound to kick off the second of the Sox-Yanks three-game series. The two-time major champion donned a BoSox cap and jersey for his second stint on the rubber in two weeks.
The native of the Lone Star state is a Rangers fan and did the honors prior to the Seattle-Texas game on Aug. 18 in Dallas, where he piped it down the middle.
