The first eight matches of the 2016 Ryder Cup are in the books, but there are still 20 more on deck, starting with eight on Saturday. The United States jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the early going on Friday before settling in for a 5-3 lead heading into Day 2.

NBC will take over coverage on Saturday, with both television and online offerings. The network will provide at least 10 hours of live TV coverage, with the broadcast set to run from 9 a.m. ET to 7 p.m. The first groups are scheduled to tee off at 8:35 a.m., so very little golf will be played outside of the TV coverage. Viewers can also follow online thanks to a pair of online streams. NBC will provide a simulcast stream of the TV coverage. There will also be a stream dedicated to the first tee, allowing viewers to watch all of the players’ opening tee shots, both in the morning and afternoon sessions.

Saturday will begin with four foursome matches in the morning. The United States dominated the foursome matches on Friday, winning all four to open up the early lead. Day 2 will conclude with four fourball matches in the afternoon. Those were a completely different case on Friday with Europe rallying back to win three of the four matches and in dominant fashion.

The Ryder Cup ultimately comes down to the 12 singles matches on Sunday, when all 24 players hit the course. There is still plenty on the line on Saturday with eight points up for grabs. While the event won’t be won until Sunday, it could be all but lost on Saturday with a dismal outing by either side.
