Smylie Kaufman prepared for the biggest golf round of his life by watching ‘Tin Cup’

Prior to this week, Smylie Kaufman had never played the weekend in a major championship. Now, the 24-year-old finds himself in the final pairing at the Masters playing alongside reigning champion Jordan Spieth. It would be understandable if the moment was a little too big for Kaufman and nerves got the best of him.

That doesn’t seem to be the case.

Kaufman is about to play the biggest round of his life on the biggest stage in golf. Yet there he is, watching Tin Cup. This guy is the best.
