4 professional golfers set world record for the fastest golf hole ever played

The European Tour is known to produce some very fun videos. Like when players tried to hit clay pigeons with golf or skipped a ball across water to hit a gong. Now, they’ve taken things to another level and set an actual world record in the process.

The tour recruited 12 players to form three different speed golf teams. The premise is simple. The players rotate hitting shots as fast as they can with the timer stopping when they put the ball in the hole. There are a few caveats, including that the hole has to be at least 500 yards. The previous record was 68 seconds and well, it got obliterated. The French team, thanks to a terrific second shot, cut the time in half. Chest bumps ensued.

The team from Denmark also broke the previous record. Team Spain? Not so much. Sergio Garcia’s second shot found the water, forcing the team to take a drop and make five strokes.

The golf was great. The chest bumps could use some work.
