It’s not quite the absurd 1/3 odds he held going into the final 18 holes last year, but Jordan Spieth is the heavy 11/10 favorite to take home his second straight green jacket. Last year, he was 4/9 at the 36-hole mark, but this time around, he’ll start Sunday’s final round with a one shot lead and coming off an ugly double bogey to end his third round.
Latest Masters odds 2016: Jordan Spieth still heavy favorite at Augusta
The defending champ’s late stumbles opened things up in a big way for Sunday, but he’s still the heavy favorite and in the lead with 18 more holes to go.

That sputtering finish on Saturday night brought a host of chasers with lots of firepower back into it. Spieth stood on the 17th tee with a four-shot lead, the same margin he held last year. That would have eliminated a lot of players that were over-par, but now the leading number is just 3-under. And Sunday should present much more favorable scoring conditions for the chasers, who might finally have that chance to go out there and post a mid-60s round and make up five or six shots.
The green jackets of Augusta like to make Sunday’s setup easier, promoting birdies and more excitement and leaderboard movement. The winds that have pummeled the field all week are also supposed to be dead, so the bombers, like Jason Day and Dustin Johnson have to be enthused with the turn in conditions. Day is 11/2 and DJ is 17/2, hovering right there with a great chance to pull off the chasedown. Smylie Kaufman, a rookie who has never played on Sunday at a major championship, is the closest to Spieth just one shot off the pace. He’s out in the final tee time of the day but he’s 10/1 behind Day, DJ, and Hideki Matsuyama.
Spieth said late Saturday that the finish, where he threw away three shots back to field, would totally change how he had to play Sunday’s final round. It’s a new game. Here are your final round odds to win the 80th Masters:
