Golf turtle gets a workout in while watching the Byron Nelson Championship

There is some very good golf being played at the 2016 Byron Nelson Championship, but like all golf tournaments, the real star was an animal. Animals have a long history of stealing the show at golf courses. Like this golf goose, or this golf fox, or this golf moose, or this golf otter, or these golf deer, or this golf kangaroo. You can now add this golf turtle to the list.

A little dip in the water, a brief workout, some sunbathing and a little PGA Tour spectating? That’s one hell of a Friday for that turtle. The only question is what the plan for the rest of the day is. If this turtle is anything like its golf turtle brethren, a high dive might be in store.
