Phil Mickelson’s heater at The Open continues with near ace of the Postage Stamp

Lefty is putting on a show at Royal Troon, where he’s up by five shots and stuffing the ball just inches from the hole.

Will The Open be over by Friday afternoon? Phil Mickelson’s run at Royal Troon is continuing in the second round, and he’s now 11-under after almost acing the infamous Postage Stamp. The tap-in birdie came just moments after another he sucked the ball back at the 7th for another short birdie putt. He’s now FIVE SHOTS clear of second place.

Mickelson almost looked disappointed that this ball didn’t go in, rolling his eyes and smirking as it settled a couple inches from the edge of the cup.

We’re getting the full Phil experience at Troon this week and it’s incredibly fun to watch.
