2016 British Open weather forecast: More wind coming Saturday at Royal Troon

More wind and even some possible rain showers should impact the The Open at Royal Troon this weekend.

While it may not be as bad as Friday, weather for the weekend at Royal Troon still keeps clouds, winds and the chance of a shower or two in the weather forecast.

SATURDAY — THIRD ROUND WEATHER FORECAST
Round three of the Open Championship won’t be nearly as wet as Friday. Skies will feature a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day. While it will be mostly dry and we could see some sunshine, there is a chance, especially in the afternoon, that a shower works into the area. Temperatures during most of the round will be in to upper 50s. Winds will be out of the west between 10 to 20 mph.

SUNDAY — FINAL ROUND WEATHER FORECAST
A chance of showers along with breezy conditions will impact the course on Sunday. While not as heavy as Friday’s rain, a shower or two cannot be ruled out during play. Winds will be out of the west-southwest between 10 to 20 mph and more gusts of 25 mph are possible. Temperatures will be near 60 and in the upper 50s.
