Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson will have a showdown for the 145h Open Championship on Sunday, with NBC and Golf Channel providing coverage of the final round of the third major of 2016 live from Royal Troon in Scotland.

Stenson shot a 3-under 68 on Saturday to take a one-shot lead over Mickelson, the latter seeking his first major win since winning The Open in 2013. The runner up that weekend was Stenson, his best finish in a major.
That 2013 Open win was also Mickelson’s last victory of any kind. After opening with a major record-matching 63 in the first round on Thursday, Mickelson shot 68 and 70 over the last two rounds. For Phil fans, the hope is that upward trend on the scorecard does not continue on Sunday.
“Some days it’s easy and it looks pretty like the first couple,” Mickelson told the Associated Press. “Some days it’s hard and it looks terrible, like it did today. But either way, I shot three rounds under par.”
A win on Sunday would give Mickelson six major championships, which would tie him with Lee Trevino and Nick Faldo for 12th-most all-time. A discussion about his place in the game would also ensure. It would seemingly take a total collapse by both Stenson (-12) and Mickelson (-11) for someone else to win the Claret Jug, but lurking on Sunday are Bill Haas (-6), Andrew Johnston (-5) and J.B. Holmes (-4).
The final round broadcast will focus on those players up ahead a little bit, but this is mostly a two-man show featuring Stenson and Mickelson in that final pairing. They’ll tee off at 9:35 a.m. ET, setting up a finish just before 2 p.m. back in the eastern United States.
