Furious Open golfer snaps club over his leg, chucks the remains in the bushes

Thomas Pieters has had enough of The Open and Royal Troon.

The 11th hole at Royal Troon is one of the most challenging par-4s these pros will ever play, and it has ignited tempers all week. But no one got as angry as Thomas Pieters, who decided he’d had enough of one particular club after a poor shot at the 11th.

We’ve seen club snaps over the knee before, but Pieters’ form is impressive. The fury with which he disposed of the pieces goes above and beyond the usual discarding of the rubble to the caddie.
