It took 10 holes for the roars to start at Baltusrol, and then 54-hole leader Jimmy Walker drained one from the sand for his first birdie of the day.

Jimmy Walker took his time, but it was worth the wait for the 54-hole PGA Championship leader to make his first birdie of the final round.

The final major of the season was something of a snooze-fest, with Walker making nine pars in a row before that wedge shot from the green-side bunker got him to 12-under for the tourney.
With defending champ Jason Day following with a birdie of his own on No. 11 and climbing to just one shot off the lead, apparently the PGA Championship doesn’t start until the back nine.

Oh, and Walker did Day one better, immediately making his second birdie on the 11th. Buckle up.
